# Cyera

Connect Sola and Cyera to get security insights

## Overview <a href="#overview" id="overview"></a>

The Cyera integration connects data from your Cyera account to your Sola workspace, making it easy to search and find answers to your specific use cases.

With the Cyera integration, you can:

* Monitor datastores across your environment, including their classification and cloud security posture.
* Track data security issues, including the identities and objects involved.
* Review identities with access to your datastores and how they're classified.
* Track audit trail activity in Cyera, including issue updates, sensitivity shifts, and policy triggers.
* See datastore ownership, policies, and business context behind each finding.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Your data can only be retrieved, never modified.**

Once connected, your data is securely stored, and access is restricted to retrieving configurations and metadata only. Authentication methods ensure secure delegation of permissions while maintaining data integrity.
{% endhint %}

### Connect Cyera to Sola

To connect Cyera, you'll need an access token generated from your Cyera account's API Tokens settings.

This method uses an access token to securely grant Sola read-only access to your Cyera data.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.sola.security/integrations/data-sources/cyera.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
